Mr. Robot store - S01E09 eps1.8_m1rr0r1ng.qt
S01E09 opens with a flashback to 1994 while Elliot (Rami Malek) and his Dad/Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) are at their "Mr. Robot" store. Lots of old tech to see here and a brief morality play involving a customer who accuses Elliot of stealing from his wallet.
"Timecop or Stargate?" says Mr. Robot but Elliot chooses Pulp Fiction.
After they leave the store the camera pulls back to show the store front and we flash forward to see the store become empty and available for lease, then become a drycleaners, a florist, a tattoo parlour, and finally a Bank of E.
While the Mr. Robot store and other tenants are fictitious the filming location was at a real store located at 18 Main St Yonkers, NY 10701.
Yonkers Station, the filming location of a scene later in this episode, is only a 5 minute walk from the Mr. Robot store.

Fernando Vera’s (Elliot Villar) brother Isaac (Rick Gonzalez) and DJ (Jas Anderson) are holding Elliot while he tries to break Fernando out of prison. Elliot says “I’m ready to bust Vera out, I can get into the network, we need to go to the jail now.”
Elliot narrates as their car pulls up next to a No Standing sign near the correctional center:
“Remember when the panic would set in and we had a solution, be honest I miss that, life is so much easier when you’re numb.”

In episode 5, at 04:36, the team arrives at "Steel Mountain" so that Elliot can install a Raspberry Pi behind a thermostat connected to the "Steel Mountain" intranet.
"Steel Mountain" is really "800 Westchester Avenue" an office complex at 800 Westchester Avenue, Rye Brook NY 10573.

Darlene and Trenton have been looking for Darlene's guy Cisco (Michael Drayer). Darlene practices some ballet moves in a plaza and then notices a large black limousine parked nearby. Darlene tells Trenton "it's him" and they get into the limousine.
The scene was shot by the Henry Ward Beecher Statue located at the intersection of Cadman Plaza E & Johnson St Brooklyn, NY 11201 at Columbus Park.
The StreetView frame above is taken looking north to south, whereas the scene was filmed on the other side of the statue looking south to north.
A Photo Sphere taken further down the park gives a good view of the location as filmed.
