Sharon Knowles' (Michele Hicks) husband Scott (Brian Stokes Mitchell) is downstairs at a reception hosted by Phillip Price (Michael Christofer). Sharon leaves and meets Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallström) on the roof. There's a great view, some chit chat, and cue FKA Twigs.

Even though Wellick says "On the roof, take the back stairwell, cameras have been out since March, noone will know" the filming took place in two different buildings.

The reception and bar scene were filmed inside the Bertelsmann Building at 1540 Broadway.

As the reception scene opened, while (Brian Stokes Mitchell) is feted by Phillip Price (Michael Christofer), there's a clear view out the window of the Paramount Building with it's clock faces lit up for the evening.

While Sharon Knowles and Tyrell Wellick are at the bar the Marriott Marquis on Broadway can be seen behind them out the window.



The final part of the scene was filmed on the roof of the 1155 Avenue of the Americas building.



The scene concludes with Sharon approaching Wellick from the northeast corner of the roof on 1155 Avenue of the Americas. Americas Tower (standing at W 45th Street) is behind her. A wide shot has Wellick looking east and then cuts to the south east. At right of frame is 1133 Avenue of the Americas and slightly higher behind that is the Bank of America Tower.

Isaac (Rick Gonzalez) takes Elliot (Rami Malek) to a dockside and is about to shoot him in the back of the head.

“You don’t want me to free Vera. That’s why you don’t care about the operation.” 

“I’d pick better last words.” 

Isaac (Rick Gonzalez) and Elliot (Rami Malek) were standing by the water’s edge on the eastern side of Newtown Creek by the Greenpoint Avenue Bridge.



As Isaac changes his mind the scene cuts to a wide shot looking west toward the United Metro Energy Corp facility on the opposite side of Newtown Creek.

Elliot needs Darlene’s help to hack Vera out of prison.

Darlene decides to download some ready made malware (so Elliot calls her a “script kitty”) and she walks across the prison car park dropping flash drives in the hope someone will pick one up and plug it in to the prison network.

This scene was also filmed at Westchester County Correction, 10 Woods Rd, Valhalla, NY 10595. There’s no StreetView inside the prison but you can see the car park from an overhead view.



This is at the same car park where in S01E06 Elliot realises he doesn't need to hack WPA2 because there's dedicated 4G available.

"As he watched Rome burn" - S01E10 eps1.9_zer0-day.avi

After the finale end credits a final scene plays in one take. The scene starts by following a limousine up an estate driveway and stops on Whiterose's (BD Wong) face. After a brief discussion with Evil Corp CEO Phillip Price (Michael Cristofer) Whiterose alludes to the Roman Emperor Nero and says "... as he watched Rome burn".

This scene was filmed at the Hempstead House in the Sands Point Preserve in Long Island New York. The street address for the Preserve is Sands Point Preserve 127 Middle Neck Rd Sands Point, NY 11050.

Elliot (Rami Malek) has arrived at Times Square being carried by Mr Robot (Christian Slater). We watch his delusion bloom into a conversation with his family, and the audience, then he makes everyone disappear before getting on the subway.

Salesman: Listen this isn't my business but don't drink their kool aid.

Angela: Look, I just needed a job.

Salesman: What kind of an excuse is that?

Angela: You don't understand.

Salesman: You should hear yourself.

Angela: I don't know who you think you're talking to but I'll try the Pradas next.

He suddenly pauses, and then tells the interviewer "the public should be worried ... I mean, personally my life is over". Plouffe then produces a handgun, looks toward Angela (Portia Doubleday) and says "calm down everyone". He then shoots himself in the mouth.

The interior of this Evil Corp scene was filmed on the 46th floor of Trump Soho Hotel inside the SoHi Meeting Room.

The car park is located at 6th Ave & W 17th St New York NY 10011 and the artwork is called "Love Vandal" by British street artist Nick Walker.

S01E01 concludes with men in suits taking Elliot from Times Square to see Tyrell Wellick at Evil Corp. S01E02 opens where S01E01 leaves off with Elliot (Rami Wellick) standing before Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallström) and "11 of our most annoying lawyers". Wellick offers Elliot a position as Head of Evil Corp's cyber security division. Elliot replies "Can I ... can I think about it?"

While the exterior of "Evil Corp" was filmed outside 135 E 57th St New York, NY 10022 (the corner of Lexington and E 57th St) the interior of this Evil Corp scene was filmed on the 46th floor of Trump Soho inside the SoHi Meeting Room.

S01E09 opens with a flashback to 1994 while Elliot (Rami Malek) and his Dad/Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) are at their "Mr. Robot" store. Lots of old tech to see here and a brief morality play involving a customer who accuses Elliot of stealing from his wallet.

"Timecop or Stargate?" says Mr. Robot but Elliot chooses Pulp Fiction.

After they leave the store the camera pulls back to show the store front and we flash forward to see the store become empty and available for lease, then become a drycleaners, a florist, a tattoo parlour, and finally a Bank of E.

While the Mr. Robot store and other tenants are fictitious the filming location was at a real store located at 18 Main St Yonkers, NY 10701.




Yonkers Station, the filming location of a scene later in this episode, is only a 5 minute walk from the Mr. Robot store.

Elliot (Rami Malek) and Mr Robot (Christian Slater) are standing on a station platform waiting for a train to take them to the Alderson family home. A man in a black suit appears to look toward them and says "I thought that was you". The man in black walks forward and embraces a woman on the platform.

If you look carefully there is an F-Society sign on the pillar to the left of the man in black as he embraces the woman, and in the distance behind them there is a large smokestack.

The station sign on the platform says "Port Jervis" but is it really?

This scene was filmed on the Southbound platform of Yonkers Station on the MTA Hudson line overlooking The Palisades (source: rantsthoughtsmerde).

Elliot (Rami Malek) is on his way to meet with the White Rose. He stops by a fountain to talk to Angela (Portia Doubleday) about being blackmailed by Cisco (Michael Drayer) into installing the disk at AllSafe.

In real life Rami Malek and Portia Doubleday played the scene next to the fountain outside the Chase Bank at 1251 6th Ave New York, NY 10020.



The Rockefeller Centre and Magnolia Bakery can be seen across the road during the scene.

"Trust issues. The Dark Army ..." - S01E08 eps1.7_wh1ter0se.m4v

Ollie (Ben Rappaport) has told Elliot (Rami Malek) to take some corrupted drives to "Blank's Disk" on 36th Street. Elliot soon realises that the visit to "Blank's Disk Data Recovery Service" is a setup for a meeting with the the White Rose at the Dark Army.

The exterior location for Blank's Disk Data Recovery Service was filmed outside Nisha Sportswear Inc 13 W 36th St New York, NY 10018. 



"Blank's Disk" is seen again after being gutted by fire in S01E09.

Elliot and Darlene are celebrating their belief that the honeypot at AllSafe will be removed and Darlene's rootkit will take down Evil Corp.

Elliot moves toward Darlene and kisses her on the mouth.

Darlene: "Oh my God Elliot!! What the fuck??!!"

Elliot: "I'm ... I'm sorry."

Darlene: "What the hell is wrong with you?!"

Elliot: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I thought, I just, I'm sorry."

Darlene: "Oh my God Elliot ... did you forget again? Did you forget who I am?"

Elliot: "What do you mean? Forget what?"

Darlene: "Elliot I need you to tell me who you think I am."

Elliot: "What are you talking about?"

Darlene: "Tell me right now."

Elliot: "What are you saying?"

Darlene: "Elliot?"

Elliot: "Of course I didn't forget ... you're Darlene. You're Darlene."

Darlene: "Elliot."

Elliot: "You're Darlene."

Elliot narrated: "I know. I know what she's going to say."

Darlene: "I'm your ... "

Elliot: "Sister. You're my sister."

This scene took place at a park bench on the Coney Island boardwalk opposite the Wonderwheel seen in episode 1.

Elliot's (Rami Malek) prison hack has been successful and inmates are fleeing the scene. DJ (Jas Anderson) and Vera (Elliot Villar) are about to drive off when Elliot asks for Shayla's (Frankie Shaw) return.

Elliot: Shayla. Where is she?

Vera: Keys, yo. Told you you'd get her back, bro. You just didn’t realise she was with you the whole time.

DJ and Vera leave as Elliot opens the trunk of the sedan he has been in all day. Shayla is in the trunk, dead, and with her throat cut.

In real life this location is in the south eastern corner of a real prison Westchester County Correction Facility, 10 Woods Rd Valhalla, NY 10595.





The scene was filmed just inside the guard post on Penetentiary Service Road. You can see exactly where the sedan with Shayla's body was by comparing the StreetView image below with an image from the shoot tweeted by Frankie Shaw. A street light and transmission tower appear in both images.

Elliot (Rami Malek) and Darlene (Carly Chaikin) are under house arrest at Elliot’s apartment. Fernando Vera’s (Elliot Villar) brother Isaac (Rick Gonzalez) and DJ (Jas Anderson) are holding Elliot while he tries to break Fernando out of prison. Elliot says “I’m ready to bust Vera out, I can get into the network, we need to go to the jail now.”

Elliot narrates as their car pulls up next to a No Standing sign near the correctional center:

“Remember when the panic would set in and we had a solution, be honest I miss that, life is so much easier when you’re numb.”

Isaac says “What’s the plan bitch boi?”, and Elliot gets out of the car and walks to the correctional center.

In real life the team pulled up and parked at the No Standing sign by 48th Ave & 31st Pl, New York.




As Elliot gets out of the car Darlene yells "Elliot what are you doing?" and Elliot narrates "Like a hard drive blasted by excessive voltage my mind is frayed close to fried." If you look carefully behind Elliot you can see a stack of yellow cabs. True to life they are directly opposite where the car is parked under the No Standing sign in 31st Place.

Elliot (Rami Malek) and Shayla (Frankie Shaw) sit in a restaurant while Fernando Vera's (Elliot Villar) brother Isaac (Rick Gonzalez) and DJ (Jas Anderson) eat at a table nearby. But as Elliot reassures Shayla "I'm gonna get you out of this ok?" Issac gets up, grabs Shayla and says "time's up!" and drags Shayla out of the restaurant.
